Brooklyn-based Ang Low has an ability to create truly original music, with emphatic electronics somehow complimenting an R&B sensibility. His buzz tracks, ‘Life Goes Down’ and ‘Can’t Describe Her’, have already created buzz around the blogosphere, his musical influences broad yet cohesive.“I want something that speaks to my soul”, he explains. “I pull my inspiration from all different types of music. I don’t really have a certain genre that I love or always revert to – I like it all”.
Here at Notion we do love to give you special things, so we’ve got an exclusive premiere of Ang Low’s new track, ‘Voodoo Woman’, the final song to be taken from his debut EP Life Goes Down. The song is a frantic percussion driven song, with alien-like synths scattering across the chorus. A smooth R&B vocal compliments the scattering production, melding the song together creating a moment of pure tribal madness. Check out the track below:
Ang Low’s debut EP, Life Goes Down, is set for release March 31st via Luv Luv Luv Records.
